Harper Estates is an upcoming Highland Homes community in Lake Wales, off Mountain Lake Cutoff Road and US 27. Lake Wales has a slower pace, with Bok Tower Gardens, a historic downtown, and lots of lakes and parks. Publix, Eagle Ridge Mall, and downtown dining are all within about three miles, US 27 is a quarter mile away, and SR 60 is about two miles. Homes are planned at about 1,500 to 3,100 sq ft with 3 to 6 bedrooms, an owners suite, 2 car garage, covered lanai or porch, and finishes like granite or quartz counters, LVP flooring, and Samsung stainless appliances. Highland expects introductory pricing to start in the high $200s. There is no CDD. Plans, pricing, and HOA details are still coming. Schools are in the Polk County School District: South Pointe Elementary and McLaughlin Academy of Excellence, with Lake Wales Charter Schools as an option.
